CPT chose this event, organised by the Japanese Society of Automotive Engineers, to introduce CPT to the Japanese market. Although some Japanese OEMs were already conducting product evaluations most were unaware of their acquisition by CPT. The show was also an excellent opportunity for the CPT management team to gauge the true level of hybridisation underway in Asia.
